Behind the Brand
It’s not every day that we get to work with a company like Delugs. For a company that inhabits the everyday and luxury watch strap niche, it was crucial to design a space which served as a stage for product elevation - Here are the highlights we love best.
Walkway
Most companies display their logo upon entering the space. Delugs opted to have a more understated, gallery-esque approach by pairing their signage with a walkway. The brand signage is integrated along the entrance walkway, creating a subtle introduction to the space without feeling overly corporate.
Upon entry, clients can see the inner workings of the studio through the glass partition (right). Peeking in provides a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes, from product shoots featuring Delugs’ watch straps to the filming of content for their media channels, giving the workplace a sense of energy and authenticity.
Studio
Every good watch collection requires a ‘showpiece’. Complemented, yet elevated by the rest. For this office space, the Studio serves that function.
The heart of the Delugs office, the Studio houses the legendary Strap Wall as the central showpiece. Hundreds of straps are arranged on this wall with archival precision – displaying a visual catalogue of leather, fabric and rubber.
The Strap Wall is not just for display – its aesthetics seamlessly hide a secondary function as a custom carpentry, multi-functional strap hangar and drawer.
The studio holds an additional hidden feature - a 2.4m-long custom shelf that reveals concealed wainscoting panel to accommodate the multiple studio paper rolls housed above.
Simplicity, with Intent
Behind every successful company is a strong foundation of people, processes, and operations. The design of this space brings these practical needs together with the overall visual language of the office, creating a workplace that is functional yet cohesive.
The design intentionally embraces a restrained black-and-white palette, allowing the simplicity of the architecture and detailing to take centre stage. Minimal yet sophisticated, the space reflects Delugs’ clean and refined brand identity while supporting the everyday rhythm of its operations.
